Actually I don’t know what swag lamp is. And even I’ve never seen it before in my daily life. I just know this term “swag lamp” from the internet. I got many swag lamp pictures too, of course from the internet. I found the definition of swag lamp from a free patent site and got some more information about what swag lamp is. I’m interested in this lamp because a friend of mine told me that swag lamp is a niche keyword in the internet. There isn’t much information about this lamp while people pay more attention. So, about 4 months ago, I bought a domain name “myswaglamps.com” to give more info about lamps and especially swag lamp. I just wanna collect as many as possible information through the internet, books, TV and others related with swag lamp and then republish it with my own perspective.
Now, 4 months after I bought that domain name, I’ve already collect some info about swag lamps. All of them are from the internet, especially from free articles database. Actually, it’s not enough. There is no added value that I’ve given to this site. You can see from the visitors, there is almost no visitor. I think that I’ve to do something else to give a useful contribution to “myswaglamps” to invite some more visitors. But I still don’t know what to do. You guys…, can you help me? Let’s work together; two heads are better than one right? Ok I’m waiting forward for your great idea
O ya… this is what I’ve got from the internet related with the definition of swag lamps. A beauty swag lamp comprised of a frame having a top, bottom, and at least one side wall. Can you imagine it? The frame also has at least one movable door wall. The frame forms a compartment and at least one mirror is within the compartment. When the door wall is open the interior compartment and mirror are exposed for use. A light means is positioned within at least one wall to emit light outwardly from the frame when the door wall is closed. Yes of course, I’m sure you know what swag lamp is. And it’s better to see the pictures of swag lamp. You can find a lot through Google images search.

You’re making this much too difficult. A swag lamp hangs by a hook from the ceiling by a long cord encased in chain. The lamp is not attached electically to the ceiling, but instead, plugs into a wall outlet. The chain surrounding the cord is for two purposes: One is for decoration and the other is to hang the lamp on the ceiling hook and adjust the height. These lamps were once very popular in the 60’s 70’s and into the 80’s. Sorry to see them so difficult to find now.
